Bob Fisher

I call my creative works ‘sculptured stories’. Each evolves from a story. saying, or quote. I use recycled materials, such as plumbing parts, old toys, doll parts, or other discarded objects collected from flea markets, second hand stores, or trash bins. I use welding, gluing, bolting, and sometimes, praying, to hold the parts together. Some parts are sculpted from clay. The subject matter usually deals humorous or ironic situations with an occasional foray into seriousness. My daily mantra–Situation hopeless, but not serious –is at the core of my creative motivation. My artistic goals? To satisfy my urge to create, and to give viewers of my work an insight into my world of fun with alternate realities.
