Monty Brown is a retired United Methodist pastor and lawyer, who fell into his love of painting in 2015, by accident.  He enjoys the exercise of painting, finding it to be a playful act of co-creation with the Creator. Oil paints are his primary medium. He enjoys landscape and still life paintings, as well as the great satisfaction of portraits, which he does by commission. Monty’s “signature” on paintings is not a name signing, but a red stick figure face with ten hairs sticking out.
