Queen of the Mountain, framed giclee print, 18 x 22, $55.
Judy's Emergence from Covid painting on the opening page attempts to define the fear that COVID could return with the suffocating isolation it brought to the world. An emerging winged creature is holding its head, clutching its mask and blanket while lingering flecks of "germs" litter the dark background.
In her Queen of the Mountain print, distant mountains are seen from Kanawha County as the sun and mist rise with Queen Anne’s lace nearby in full summer bloom.

Mom with Simey, oil on canvas, 18 x 22, $800.
“I can’t remember a time when I wasn’t drawing or painting.” says Judy. “I was encouraged by a loving family and many friends. Realistic still life and landscapes are my first passion. Non-objective mixed media runs a close second. My work is mainly acrylic, but I enjoy exploring other media and art styles. I’ve also been a paid set designer for several community plays."
A reception with refreshments celebrating painters Newman Jackson and Judy Foxx will be held on Friday, March 20 at 3-7 pm. This is a great opportunity to chat with the featured artists, and view all of the Gallery Eleven’s paintings, prints, sculpture, ceramics, glass work, artisan jewelry and woodwork.
